The aim of the project was to create a lightweight design which can be mounted easily and quickly.
The starting point was a conventional spider technique, which consists of interlacing the tubes with string and stiffening them by binding. The goal was to improve the old technology by giving it an additional property.
Through series of prototypes and experiments we have developed the principle of creating a single module and a system
of combining them - to create multi-elements design that quickly can be folded from flat form to hexagon.
The project is called 'hex hex' which in German means 'hocus pocus', because submitting modules runs so fast that with
a reason may be associated with a magic trick.
